Bagus is a Managing Consultant in Castlerock Consulting and has over 20 years of experience in project management and more than 12 years in the energy sector. He serves as a management advisor for energy and infrastructure project development, primarily in the electricity and urban sectors. His area of expertise relates to climate change, the energy sector and sustainable infrastructure development. His experiences in assisting the policy development for the policymakers and managing the project processing and implementation with utility companies.Bagus conducted energy transition research as a doctoral researcher in the University of Edinburgh Business School under the Centre for Business and Climate Change in the United Kingdom. Hespecialized in energy policy and energy finance to help government, utility companies, and the private sector nourish energy transition toward cleaner and more sustainable fashion.Bagus has undertaken policy and project development in several countries, including Indonesia, in electricity transmission and distribution networks and renewable energy development, particularly geothermal and hydropower. He led the project implementation in the energy sector in Indonesia while working in Asian Development Bank’s Indonesian Country Office. At Castlerock, he has a senior role for energy transition and climate change-related projects and managing the consultant to deliver series of activities related to the supporting utility company in preparing the generic form of power purchasing agreement (PPA) for the hybrid power generation and replacing a major diesel power generating station., He advises the head of policy development strand teamfor the Mentari project under UK-FCO and supports the strategic formulation for the energy transition partnership for Indonesia.
