Junior Power Modeller


As a Junior Power Modeller, Musyaffa’ is responsible for supporting Castlerock team in preparing power system designs using HOMER. Previously, Musyaffa’ was a professional with a deep interest in power systems, power models, and power electronics, with expertise in power converters, semiconductor switches, and renewable energy. Throughout his career, he has led several significant projects in energy technology development, including national projects and collaborations with renowned institutions. His skills extend beyond simulation to include hardware implementation. Additionally, Musyaffa’ has been involved in various community service programs related to technology and health, demonstrating his dedication to advancing more efficient and sustainable energy technologies.

His area of expertise includes:

  • Design of Solar and Wind Hybrid Power System in Kakorotan Islands using Homer Pro.
  • Modeling control systems and power systems for Dual Active Bridge (DAB) and Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) for Solid State Transformer (SST) Design.
  • Heatsink-Cooler System Design with Ansys for 500 kW PWM Rectifier on Hybrid & Fast Light Train (KRHC) for MutualHub UGM and PT INKA.
  • 2.5 kW Smart Inverter Design and Hardware Build for Power Wall System.
  • Basic Tutorial on Sliding Mode Control in Speed Control of DC Motor.
  • Socialization of Solar Panel Introduction for Junior High School 1 of Masaran, Sragen, Indonesia.
