Yunanto brings more than 8 years of specialized experience to the team as an Energy/Power Modeller and PV System Engineer in Indonesia. Armed with a Magister of System Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, he has been heavily involved in technical planning, financial analysis, and procurement preparation for major renewable energy projects. His recent roles include serving as a Power Engineer and National Solar PV Specialist for ADB-funded result-based loan programs, where he monitors and evaluates PLN’s progress in regions like Kalimantan, Maluku, Papua, and Java.

In addition to field evaluations, Yunanto excels in spatial analysis and technical modelling using tools like HOMER Pro, PVsyst, and OnSSET. For the UK-MENTARI Programme, he modelled hybrid power system scenarios (such as PV combined with BESS, wind, or biomass) to help the government formulate ceiling prices for hybrid tariffs. His practical engineering background is further highlighted by his work designing renewable masterplans for villages and developing solar PV-based ice block factories for remote island communities, showcasing a strong blend of analytical modelling and ground-level project execution.
