Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Program

Under this 2015-2017 ADB Policy and Advisory Technical Assistance (PATA), Castlerock provided support to the Government for energy policy actions such as tariff rationalization and subsidy targeting, performance improvement measures for PLN, increased electrification, support for private sector investment in gas and power, scale-up of renewable power generation, improved energy efficiency and reduced power plant emissions. Specific areas of relevance to this assignment include preparation of a least-cost electrification plan for the Indonesian provinces of Papua, West Papua, Maluku and Maluku Utara, and review of associated regulatory arrangements.
