Development of UKCCU Support to Promoting Energy Efficiency in Indonesia

This assignment is aimed at developing a business case for UK Climate Change Unit (UKCCU) support of £ 20 Million to promote energy efficiency in Indonesia through loan and/or grant financing. The business case evaluates the feasibility of UK funding in cooperating to channel the fund  with (i) Emission Reduction Investment Program, developed by kfW (ii) the Climate Technology Financing (CTF) which is managed and  channelled  by IFC and ADB (iii) Global Climate Partnership Fund, which is managed by KfW.

Castlerock’s work consisted of development of a strategic case, an appraisal case, a commercial case, a financial case and a management case.
