Meilia Istiqomah is a consultant for Castlerock Consulting since 2017 with experience in environmental, social, and safety. Before joined Castlerock Consulting, Meilia was an environmental officer for Chevron Geothermal Salak (CGS) in the operation phase during 2014-2015, environmental officer for PT Donggi-Senoro LNG (with the contract under PT Surveyor Indonesia) in the construction phase (2012-2014). In Castlerock Consulting, She joined as Social and environmental officer for Off-Grid Community-Owned Renewable Energy Projects: East Sumba Microgrids, W3A-59 from Millennium Challenge Account – Indonesia (MCA-I) in 2017 and as Independent Verification Agent (IVA) –Environmental Consulting for Result Based Landing (RBL) Sumatera from Asian Bank Development Bank (ADB) in 2018. Furthermore, Meilia is working as IVA –Environmental Consulting for RBL Sulawesi and Nusa Tenggara (SNT), and Kalimantan, Maluku, and Papua (KMP) from ADB and Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW), and support for the organizer of Community based Waste to Energy Workshop from Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

Meilia graduated from the Bogor Agriculture University (IPB) in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forest Management. Meilia attended training internally and externally concerning hazardous waste management, environmental permits, safety first, and waste composting.
