Dintani Naimah

Consultant

Dintani brings her experience in bridging complex engineering, socio-economic dynamics, and international development cooperation to deliver impactful renewable energy systems. Her expertise spans the full project lifecycle—from regional energy planning, renewable energy design, multi-disciplinary sustainability analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and result-based monitoring & evaluation. She holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.

Prior to joining Castlerock, Dintani worked as a Technical Advisor for GIZ, acting as the focal point for South–South Triangular Cooperation on Renewable Energy between Indonesia, Madagascar, Kenya, Mozambique, and Germany. In this role, she collaborated with more than 60 energy sector institutions across countries and conceptualized technical learning journeys on micro-hydro, solar PV, and geothermal technologies. Her multi-disciplinary approach was nurtured as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Reporting Specialist for the New Zealand Maluku Access to Renewable Energy Supports (NZMATES) project, where she developed sustainability guidelines for Solar PV Mini grids with gender-responsive and humanitarian approach.

Combining technical knowledge with on-field qualitative insights, she continues to model, design, and support inclusive energy transitions for remote and island communities. More than just deploying clean energy technology, she is dedicated to ensuring the energy transition benefits for all.
