Consultant Analyst


Aditya Pranata is a dedicated mechanical engineer with over 3 years of experience in managing complex energy projects. Holding a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Sydney, Aditya has a strong background in renewable energy, sustainable practices, and project management.

Prior to joining Castlerock Consulting, Aditya worked as a Researcher/Energy Consultant for the Center for Energy Studies (CES) UGM, where he led multidisciplinary teams on national and international projects. His role involved project management, risk analysis, and developing strategic plans for sustainable energy solutions. Particularly, he was the Project Manager and Macro Energy Analyst for a National CNG Program for Motorcycles in Indonesia, where he mapped the ecosystem, conducted trials, and managed stakeholder engagement.

Aditya’s passion for energy and sustainability is reflected in his role as a Renewable Energy Expert Assistant, where he supported hydrogen-based renewable energy initiatives in Indonesia, backed by the European Climate Foundation. His work focused on analyzing the potential green hydrogen systems in East Java. Additionally, he served as a Geothermal Power Plant Expert Assistant at PT Geodipa Energi, where he successfully managed technical and operational scenarios to enhance energy output and sustainability.

Currently, Aditya is leveraging his hands-on experience in Castlerock Consulting as a Consultant Analyst. Utilizing his extensive background in project management and energy sector expertise, he leads projects with a focus on Sustainable Finance and ESG. Aditya is actively engaged in the MENTARI project, working to accelerate the energy transition through innovative solutions that integrate low-carbon technologies and enhance resilience in energy systems.

This blend of practical experience and academic knowledge makes Aditya a valuable asset in driving sustainable energy initiatives and policy development in Indonesia and beyond.
