Under this World Bank funded assignment for Indonesia Ministry of Finance from 2011 to 2015, Castlerock worked as client-side advisor to Ministry of Finance to successfully implement Indonesia’s new state treasury and budget system, Sistem Perbendaharaan dan Anggaran Negara (SPAN). SPAN will serve as the Government of Indonesia’s financial management backbone, ultimately connecting all line ministries and expenditure units nationwide. This high profile, “mission critical” project entails five components: the Budget and Treasury Software Solution, Data Centers & Disaster Recovery Center, Collaboration Environment, Cabling at all sites, and Wide Area Network (WAN). In addition, the program entails activities for business process improvement, change management, help desk, and training.
