Electric Vine Industries (EVI) signed a joint venture partnership with ENGIE and was supported by Anekatek (AE). The joint venture aims to develop, finance, build, operate and maintain photovoltaic smart microgrids to serve approximately 2.5 million people across the Province of Papua, providing sustainable 24/7 Alternating Current electricity to 3,000 Desa over a period of 20 years. Consumers will be able to pay by mobile phone. The total investment is estimated at USD 240 million over the next five years. Castlerock provided an on-call basis support via Anekatek (AE) to EVI in securing the Business Area License (IWU) and Electricity License Permit (lzin Usaha Penyediaan Listrik/IUPTL from the Provincial Government of Papua including meeting, communication and discussions with PLN Wilayah Papua regarding their rural electrification planning, meeting, communication and discussions with Directorate General regarding  the  Wilayah Usaha Ketenagalistrikan (WUK), communication and discussions with Energy and Mineral Office (Dinos Pertambangan dan Energi) Papua Province and the Governor Office of Papua.
