Project Preparation of Green Climate Fund (GCF) Funding Proposal Package. Climate Financing Facility to Support Energy Transition in Indonesia

PT SMI assigns Castlerock to help with preparing the Funding Proposal Package in accordance with the needs of the GCF by producing the first output, i.e. “carrying out contextual analysis and program preparation. Castlerock will work closely with PT SMI and its partners to carry out Program preparation activities included in the PPF GCF as follows:

• Develop a baseline for the Program, including baseline information required for adaptation activities including but not limited to socio-economic and livelihood.
• Conducting an analysis of the potential of Indonesia’s renewable energy projects, including considering and utilizing all analysis that have been conducted.
• Propose options for the legal structure of the Program.
• Conducting analysis of the needs to improve the ability of human resources of PT PLN, IPP and private institutions that have the potential to become grant recipients for the development, implementation, and management of small-scale renewable energy projects.
• Collecting data on similar programs in Indonesia initiated by international organizations with support from PT SMI.
