The work will consist of the identification of the appropriate financing options based on the existing instruments such as the regional budget (APBD), Specific Allocation Fund (DAK), Private Participation through Corporate Social Responsibility and Public-Private Partnership, \u00a0 as well as recommendation of other new financing options currently under development in Indonesia such as Indonesian Climate Change Trust Fund.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Castlerock tasks included:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Integrating the work with the study on Climate Risk and Adaptation Assessment: Review on\u00a0 the results of\u00a0 the study on Climate Risk and Adaptation Assessment (Kajian Risiko dan Adaptasi Perubahan Iklim, KRAPI) \u00a0 and discussion with KRAPI team are conducted to identify\u00a0 the prioritized adaptation actions in targeted regions: Tarakan, South Sumatera and Malang<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evaluating the city government\/municipal\/provincial t fiscal policy and revenue ,including review of\u00a0 the existing budget capacity, and identify the fiscal capacity in supporting the national emission reduction target.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The city fiscal instruments policy\/regulatory framework (UU, PP, etc) was also\u00a0 reviewed together with the ability of city to raise additional financing for supporting the climate change mitigation actions is analysed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analyses readily available programmes and initiatives at national level which could be utilized for financing the mitigation options.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identification of the appropriate existing instruments and the possible budget to suit the particular climate change mitigation\/adaptation actions and \u00a0 identifies other financing instrument options possible which may be combined with the existing instruments.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The type of existing financial instruments covered in the analysis are\u00a0 the National Allocated Budget (APBN), City fiscal instruments, Specific Fund Allocation (DAK),\u00a0 and private sector financing such as possible funding from CSR, bank and loans.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1026,"template":"","sectors":[63],"clients":[53],"services":[54],"sizes":[55],"class_list":["post-28430","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","sectors-prasarana","clients-dev-inst-id","services-bsma-id","sizes-small-id"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Identification of Financing Options for Adaptation Measures | Castlerock Consulting Asia<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/castlerockasia.com\/id\/projects\/identification-of-financing-options-for-adaptation-measures\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"id_ID\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Identification of Financing Options for Adaptation Measures | Castlerock Consulting Asia\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"This GIZ 2011-2012 consulting assignment identified the financing\/budgeting instruments with potential to support the climate change adaptation measures at the regional level in Indonesia.
