Carbon Steel MIG Welding Wire comes on an 11 lb spool of 8" dia. and is ideal for fabrication of mild steel. It contains more deoxidizers than ER70S 3 that provides better wetting, a flatter bead shape and faster travel speeds. General purpose wire is used with 100% carbon dioxide, 75 25 shielding gas or with higer contents of argon, such as 90 10 and can also be used with 100% CO2. Wire conforms to AWS A5. 18
