These are 4340 forged Chromoly steel with high strength 3 8" Rod Bolts, and are stroker clearance for the bigger stroked cranks. the 2" Chevy Journal is smaller than the STD VW Journal giving you even more stroker clearance. These rods are a great upgrade over stock VW rods and will work great in a stroker engine. Stronger ARP 2000 Bolts
